CYTAVIS EXPANDS PHASE II CLINICAL TRIAL WITH AVISCUMINE (CY-503) IN METASTATIC COLORECTAL CARCINOMA PATIENTS

Hamburg/Germany, August 25, 2010 – CYTAVIS BioPharma currently is conducting a Phase II trial with its lead compound Aviscumine (CY-503) in patients with chemotherapy-refractory metastatic colorectal carcinoma. Already, more than 20 German study centers are participating in the trial. The study will be extended to Austria soon. Already, Cytavis has obtained clearance from the competent Austrian authorities.
