Hamburg/Germany, August 20, 2010 – CYTAVIS BioPharma today annonced the completion of a phase II trial with its lead compound Aviscumine (CY-503) in patients with refractory metastatic melanoma (stage IV). The study comprising 32 patients was conducted at four German sites (Hauttumorcentrum Charité Berlin Dermatologisches Zentrum Buxtehude / Elbe Klinikum, Haut-Tumor-Zentrum Hannover, Universitäts-Hautklinik Kiel) and is currently being evaluated.
